In most cases you will be required to renew your license and take continuing education for the next renewal date. If you are licensing in a state with a variable renewal date – then your CE will be due on the anniversary of your licensing date. If you are licensing in a state with a uniform date, whether you are required to renew at next renewal date will be dependent on how close the renewal cycle is to the date you become licensed and will be dependent on the state rules.
