If all assignments are sent to you, how do you get business if you are not on their list?
Most states maintain lists of registered AMCs and an appraiser can go through that list and determine which AMCs are operating in their state, and then they can contact the AMC.
Typically, AMCs will not contract with trainees. An individual will need to be a licensed or certified appraiser in order to get on an AMC’s list.
