7-Hour USPAP Update Course
Written by The Appraisal Foundation, this cycle’s 7-Hour Update Course offers unique insights to help you navigate real-life appraisal quandaries.

What to Expect
This course is intended for practicing appraisers of all experience levels. It takes a deep dive into the changes to USPAP for 2024, including a comprehensive look at the new Nondiscrimination section of the ETHICS RULE. It also challenges students to analyze and solve exercises and case studies addressing oral reports, personal inspection of properties, the use of extraordinary assumptions, and discounting.
After completing this course, you will have a better understanding of the USPAP requirements that prohibit advocacy, bias, and discrimination in real property appraisal and their application to common appraisal situations. Most importantly, you will be able to use the USPAP publication and the guidance in the USPAP Guidance and Reference Manual to solve everyday appraisal problems.
